Thameside Media was founded in 2007 as a sister company of Blue Island Publishing. We had been trading under the Blue Island name since 1998, initially as a packager for British book publisher DK (Dorling Kindersley), and later as publishers in our own right of the popular Londoner’s Diaries. Thameside Media then took over from Blue Island, evolving with the advent of digital publishing into an umbrella for a range of media work, including lifestyle guides, photography, web development, TV tie-ins and mapping. In 2012 we took over a neighbouring commercial photography business called Slippery Fishes.
