WordPress security
WordPress has a good record for security so long as its core and plugins are kept up to date and (as for any site) the access and passwords are kept locked down. We use a premium WordPress hosting service called WPEngine, which will keep your WordPress installation as secure as possible. In the unlikely event of a hack, your site will be reinstated free of charge by WPEngine.
